Coaching
As a coach, I offer athletes weekly face to face calls (teams or zoom) to have in-depth discussions that texts or emails can’t fully capture. These conversations include review and reflection, goal setting, encouragement, and training adjustments. This is also a time where we can talk about technical topics such as form, pacing, and nutrition strategies. In addition, athletes are free to reach out anytime (text or email) to discuss training, mental hurdles, or any other circumstances impacting running.
Training generally consists of a variety of different runs to keep running fresh and exciting with an emphasis on progression, individualization, and adjusting training to meet the needs of the athlete. It is my belief that every athlete is different in a wide variety of ways including athletic backgrounds, work / life stresses, and training locations.
